Each product is unique and is handmade in Leoni Bullcock's studio in South London.
Some pieces are greenwood and have come from locally grown trees in South London. Some pieces are reclaimed hardwoods and have come from old kitchens, Victorian pianos, and even some have come from the very same dancefloor that my great grandma used to dance on in 1910.
You will find out the story of the prodcut when you select the product. Each piece has been treated to a foodsafe standard and can be used straight away.
Due to the nature of working with wood there are some helpful hints that I must share with you to ensure your product stays in great condition.
Please never put your wooden products in the dishwasher - it won't turn out well. To clean, just use a soapy wet cloth and wipe dry.Over time, from prolonged exposure to moisture, your porduct may go a little dry and fury. Don't worry! It's wood, thats what happens, all you need to do is very lightly sand the surface and re oil.
To make sure your products lasts as long as you want it to, it's worth re-oiling once in a while to keep it nice and shiny. You can use any food safe oil or mineral to do this, but some I reccomend are:
Linseed Oil (although it tends be quite yellow in colour)
